Quarantine & Small Victories.

NEW BED.


Well folks, I got some major news for you all! We got a new bed in our room (not brand brand new but a lot better than our old one). I feel like this is definitely something one could get excited about, especially during these tough times. Small victories!

Not going to get into too much detail about the bed itself, but this new bed comes with a mattress that's a lot firmer than the one we had before, which is absolutely awesome. My back is pretty shitty so every little bit helps.

T-SHIRTS FROM HOME.


This is something that made my day/week not too long ago. I just want to give you a bit of a background story before I dive into the details. These characters/skulls that are on these T's were hand drawn by my lovely and super talented mom Giedre. I gave her a few ideas and she turned those ideas into something incredible. Thing is that both Brigita and I, we were thinking about starting our own little brand (nothing major, a small side-hustle thingy), but as we all know, sometimes you got to talk the talk and walk the walk. We did the talking part, but we never got to the walking part, which is a bit unfortunate. Although, I think that after seeing these awesome t-shirts in real life made me want to try and give this whole thing another go. This is all thanks to my awesome brother Kipras and my beautiful mom Giedre, who, not only got these T's printed, but also sent them to me as my bday present all the way form Lithuania.

I have to say, I was super stoked to see them & I feel like this is definitely something that I want to try and do in the near future (obviously after all of this corona garbage goes away). Again, thanks to my beautiful family for doing this! Love you!

Here we go again. I have to say, this has been one of those few things that I've promised myself I'll do over these next few weeks of quarantine. To be completely honest with you...I'm doing a pretty damn good job with following through with this! (not what you've expected, huh?! haha). Sure, it's not perfect, it's not 110% all the time, but I think I only skipped like 2-3 days of exercise in the last couple of weeks. Just to let you all know, I don't have any specific goals that I want to reach (not looking for a crazy physical change), I just want to stay in shape and move at least a bit (at least 30-40 mins). One thing I'm absolutely sure about is the fact that I can only workout in the morning. Not in the evening, not in the afternoon, not anytime later than 10-11AM. I want to get it out of the way and carry on with my day from there. Fortunately, we've had quite a few sunny days lately, which means more workouts outside, running and all that good stuff.


Anyways, despite all of the negative news about the COVID-19, financial crisis, economic breakdowns and all of the other shit the everyone is dealing with... I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy and positive! I know we are here in Queenstown!
